The One Day a Year to Call Our Own

Today’s my birthday! 🎂 

It’s the one day each year I look forward to checking all my social feeds, because I’m a sucker for reading birthday greetings from old and new connections, near and far.

These greetings are a delightful reminder of all the people I’ve met and connected with across the years. And it’s an opportunity to reconnect in a more meaningful way with those who are suddenly front of mind again.

I’m connected to enough people on Facebook and LinkedIn that every single day of the year, I’m prompted to wish someone a happy birthday. There’s even a day in February when I know seven different people born that same day.

When I receive a birthday greeting, it doesn’t matter if it’s a ’HBD!’ or a more thoughtful message, I am reminded of this incredible group of human beings who are each doing something amazing and unique to make this world a better place.

And I’m reminded how lucky I am to have been born to the parents I have. Love you, Mom. Miss you, Dad.

A Birthday Request

Now, I have a birthday request of you.

I’m gifting myself the grace and humility to ask for your help.

After five years of consulting and freelancing, I am now ready to return to full-time work.

I am an excellent program director with experience in global partner operations, community management, and client operations. I love coaching teams and empowering people to do their best work. My ideal company is small to mid-sized, has a positive social impact, and believes in diversity and inclusion.
